AC3 - AC6 AC10 - AC15 - AC20 Our range of automatic time clock controlled cold water softeners cover the majority of the glass and dishwashers currently manufactured or used in the U.K. From the AC3, generally fitted to the pub glasswasher to the AC20 fitted to conveyor dishwashers in large works cafeterior kitchens. They are fitted to dishwashers having their own integral break tank and air gap and operating from the mains cold water supply services. Configured as single cabinet softeners they occupy minimal space, with the smaller models fitting underneath standard dishwasher tabling. |

To size the softeners with dishwashers, it's easier to assume 1 gallon per dishwasher rack, therefore the AC3 will provide sufficient soft water for 100 racks ( 20° Clarks hardness). If it is likely the kitchen daily meals total will exceed this rack total, fit one of the larger models. If you know the water hardness, use the chart on the left to find how many racks a model will soften. Simply locate your hardness on the vertical scale then, where each model's line crosses it, move vertically down to find the rack capacity. PLEASE NOTE:- Some cold water systems do not reach the minimum pressure requirements for water softeners. Please ensure adequate pressure is available. If not! Refer to our PUMPS section for pressure boosting equipment. Some specifiers require the softener to be raised off the floor for cleaning and hygienic reasons. If this is the case refer to the section on SOFTENER PLATFORMS.
