Doulton® and British Berkefeld® Ceramic Bacteriological Filters.

Fairey Industrial Ceramics Ltd, part of the Filtration and Specialised Ceramics Division of the Fairey Group Plc, is the manufacturer of Doulton® and British Berkefeld® water filters. These filters have been in continuous manufacture for over 150 years giving them unrivalled experience in the field of point-of-use drinking water filtration.
Their current range of filters are based on ceramic elements which provide absolute filtration to 0.9 micron, removing contaminants including Giardia and Cryptosporidium, and providing bacteriologically safe drinking water. Versions are also available which will remove chlorine and organic compounds as well as lead and other heavy metals. The filters are manufactured to ISO9002 quality standards and have NSF certification.

Doulton® Pressure Filters In the field of water treatment the range of DOULTON® water filters gives a cost effective alternative to bottled water. The systems are rated to give at least six months use based on the consumption of a typical family. The systems will supply 2.5 litres of purified water per minute at typical mains pressure. There is a model to suit all needs
British Berkefeld® Gravity Filters Safe drinking water is often taken for granted, yet in many parts of the world reliable supplies of clean water are at a premium. In many circumstances a piped supply is not available and surface water from rivers, streams or water holes present the only source of water.
