Avonsoft have been manufacturing quality water softeners since the company formation in 1982. Having established a need for specialised equipment for the catering industry, Avonsoft pioneered new and inovative softeners. We were one of the first companies to manufacture a true hot water softener, and the first company to identify the need for and include break tanks with certain types of softeners. We now supply these specialist softeners to catering equipment manufacturers and suppliers throughout the U.K. and abroad. Our Catering softeners can be found at motorway service stations run by Moto, Road Chef, Welcome Break and others. M.O.D. establishments including Army, Navy, R.A.F. and USAF stations. Superstores such as Morrisons, Sainsbury's and Tesco's. Our Industrial softeners can be found in most of the well known hotel chains in many parts of the U.K., notably the Hilton, Menzies, Stakis, Thistle, Rubens, Ramada and many independent ones. Universities in Oxford, Bath, Bristol, Southampton, Leicester and both private and state schools. Hospitals, both NHS and private. Charities including the National Trust, RSPB and BPAS. Royal Mail Engineering and many others. We also carry an extensive range of water filters. We normally stock bacteriological gravity filters for treating water in places with no safe supplies like disaster areas. We supply bacteriological filters for the home, we also carry a stock of specialist filters for the elimination of taste and odour where chlorine is a problem, filters for the reduction of nitrate and fluoride.
